Next day in the Commander Minna's office room, she read it her book about plans another Neuroi, as soon she finished it Minna saw Mio's bang grow cover her both eyes.
"Wow, Mio. Your hair's gotten really long." She said.
"Hmm. Yeah, you're right. Maybe I'd better give it a trim today." Mio said.
"Oh, do you cut it yourself?" Minna asked.
"Yeah. I'll just do it now." Mio replied.
Mio grab her seppuku sword for cutting her hair bang, but Minna stop her.
"Hey! Stop it! Jeez!" She yelled and baffled. "What do you think you're doing?"
"Cutting my bangs, obviously." Mio answered.
"You're becoming a young woman, Mio." Minna sighed. "It's time to start treating your hair with respect."
"Oh, gotcha. You're saying that I need to treat a haircut like Seppuku?" Mio asked.
Minna sweatdrop on with her eye cover by lines. "Never mind Why don't you let me cut it for you?" she asked.
Mio sit on the chair with cover on her, while Minna behind her with her eyes closed with cover by shadow but you can see her eye lashes with her smile.
Mio laughs. "You look like my mommy right now, you know that?" She asked.
Minna giggled. "Watch your mouth. I could have you court-martialed. Right. Here goes nothing!" She excited.
Jeku, Ethan and Yoshika enter the room with their happy smile on their faces.
"There they are." Ethan smiled.
"Oh! Commander, We're have a--" Yoshika stop there.
They're see Minna hold Seppuku who look at three. Jeku, Ethan and Yoshika' eyes are cover lines like fear.
"What? Seppuku?" Yoshika yelled.
"Holy moly!!" Ethan shouted.
"Minna! You're not doing what I thinking you doing it?!" Jeku exclaimed and baffled.
Minna and Mio sweatdrops for them misunderstood mistakes.
"No! You're got it wrong!" Commander Minna assured.
Commander Minna explained everything for Mio's hair.
"Ah I see. You were just giving her a haircut." Yoshika says.
"That's make sense." Ethan nodded.
"Yeah, just a haircut. What's the message?" Minna asked.
"The higher ups want you to come and see them, please." Jeku informed.
"What? Right now?" Minna questions
"Yeah." Jeku/Ethan/Yoshika said in union.
"Like, now?" Minna questions again
"Like, right away." Jeku/Ethan/Yoshika says in union.
"But I am busy!" Minna said with expression smiled
Huh?" Yoshika/Ethan confused in union. Minna went back and grab Mio's long hair and playing it her hair.
"So Mio. What kind of style do you want?" She asked with playful smile.
"Minna!" Jeku called. "You can't get out of this, you have to go." He noted.
"I'm sure they just wanna tell me that they're opposed to my plan, so why can't it till later?" Minna glared.
Jeku chuckled nervously.
"Everyone who isn't busy, please gather in the office at once." Minna ordered in intercom.
"Can't! Too busy~!" Lucchini exclaimed, while stretching.
"Yeah, I'm super busy too." Shirley drawled.
I couldn't even stop if I wanted to." Erica tired
"What a bunch of crap." Trude glared at three.
"Correction, everyone except Lucchini, Hartmann and Shirley whom proved their utter uselessness once again to no one's surprised." Hearing the announcement from Minna changed the said peoples' smug expression to shock.
"Hey, you guys. Good news. You three don't have to go to the offi--" Trude stop and turn to them, but they just left quick which makes her shock. "They disappeared!"
In the office, Erica, Charlotte and Francesca already arrived.
"Oh. You're cutting the major's hair?" Shirley asked.
"That's serious business!" Erica exclaimed.
"I told you guys you didn't have to be here!" Minna yelled with a tick mark. She was then by the doorway about to leave before looking at Yoshika, Ethan and Jeku. "Miyafuji, Tidwell and Kusanagi can you handle this, please help me out?!"
"Uh, okay." Jeku/Ethan/Yoshika said nervous in union.
Later, while Commader left the meeting with high ups, Jeku and others doing Mio's hair.
"I just need it to not hang down in my eyes." Mio said.
Francesca raised her hand readily. "Please lemme do it!"
All silence for seconds.
"Anyone else?" Mio asked.
"I wanna do it!" Francesca begged desperately.
"Major. I can't sit back and watch you rob this girl of her dreams, it hurts too much!" Shirley cried.
While Francesca crying and keep saying "me".
"Don't you think she deserves a better future?" Erica agreed. "One that doesn't involve potentially dying a fiery death in combat?"
Mio sighed and moan.
"She's not going to fall for that one ain't she?" Jeku asked Ethan in whispered.
"As much I want to say she won't but..." Ethan paused having a feeling what Mio will say next.
"Okay, fine. I'll let you do it." Mio gave up
"Seriously?!" Jeku shouted, baffled.
"That is what I was afraid of..." Ethan sighed with a sweat drop.
'I guess they're forgotten all about Sakamoto's future's...' Yoshika thought with a sweat drop.
Luuchini grab a pair of scissor with happy laugh and went behind Mio.
"Do you have any persistent itchiness?" She asked.
"No, It cleared up." Mio answered.
"Such a welcome sight." Shirley smiled.
"It's nice to have this kind of peace once in a while." Hartmann said.
"We have different ideas of "peace."" Yoshika remarked.
Then they both hear Lucchini sneeze while she is in the middle of cutting Mio 's hair.
Mio's eye cover by shining light while Jeku and others were horrified and scary look.
"What happened?" Mio asked, baffled.
"Please," Hartmanm begged. "not another word, Major!"
"Don't say anything mean!" Shirley added. "She's already crying as it is!"
Yoshika cover Mio's hair with her shirt for she don't want Mio to see it. While Hartmann and Shirley face the other direction.
"Don't worry! You still look amazing!" Hartmann and Shirley shouted, exclaimed.
"Then look at me!" Mio barked.
"Oh brother..." Ethan facepalmed at this.
"No kidding..." Jeku groaned in agreement.
"Will you three just leave me alone and let Commander Minna do it?" Mio asked, annoyed.
Hartmann and Shirley shock look hearing that name. While Luuchini still crying.
"Don't do anything hasty!" Hartmann yelled, baffled.
"It's gonna be fine! Seriously!" Shirley assured.
'I sincerely doubt that...' both Ethan and Jeku thought in unison.
Yoshika decided to use her healing ability to grown Mio's hair bang which is growing.
'Guess I'll have to make it fine.' She commented, baffled in her thoughts.
"You're a life saver, Miyufuji!" Hartmann, Shirley and Luuchini cheerful expression with sign of relief smile.
While Yoshika's healing ability did the job on restoring Mio's hair, it left the former exhausted from having to restore thousands pieces of hair.
"I promise you, that will never happen again. So, don't worry." Shirley assured, smiled.
"How could I not worry?" Mio asked, worried.
"Hang in there, Luuchini." Hartmann root for Luuchini.
"Are you ok, Yoshika?" Jeku asked, concerned.
"I can't repeat that performance!" Yoshika said.
"Trust me, I got it." Luuchini assured, smiled.
While she busy cutting Mio's hair even though Major is sleeping, Others watching.
"How can she sleep through this?" Yoshika asked.
"Oh, I always nap through a haircut." Shirley said.
"Does that include Luuchini sneezing while in the middle of cutting?" Ethan asked, frowning.
Luuchini sneezed again and cutting some of her hair again.

Hartmann and Shirley laughed, Jeku and Ethan stare at them in deadpanned, then look at the left they got afraid look.
Then the two girls stopped laughing when they noticed Ethan and Jeku waving bye to them much to their confusion.
Hartmann and Shirley look at Yoshika who nervous and pointed behind them, which two girls slowly look back then they're afraid look That Commander Minna has returned from the meeting and got horrified smile with forced laughter.
Shirley, Hartmann and Luuchini are out cold while their head stick to the ground, the sign says, "Anyone who wants to may cut their hair. 501st Joint Fighter"
"Miyafuji, Jeku, Tidwell. You three should have put a stop to this." Minna told them.
"We know, sorry." Yoshika apolgized.
"Ethan, Miyufuji and Kusanagi isn't to blame. The officer who gave the order should be punished. That's how the military works." Hartmann noted.
Minna whose's eyes are shadowed had tick mark on the side of her head.
"Be quiet, Hartmann." Yoshika muttered.
"If something terrible happens, I want you to deliver eulogy, and make it good. I assumed the major would be happy with any kind of hairdo!" Hartmann cried.
"So, you made an ass of all of us." Commander Minna glared.
"Commander Minna. " Yoshika called. "Do you remember how long her hair was originally?" she asked.
"I'm not sure exactly," Minna thought. "but I think Perrine could help you with that."
"Oh, That's right! Perrine would remember! Let's go find her." Ethan remarked.
"There's no need to find her, cause she already here." Jeku pointed down the floor.
They see Perrine laying on the floor pass out.
"Oh, wow. She passed out, I guess." Minna noted.
"Why did she do it right here, though?" Yoshika wondered.
"Probably, Hartmann says something to her when she's not supposed to." Jeku noted.
"That's something Hartmann would do." Ethan agreed. "Speaking of..."
Minna bend down and look at Hartmann with angry smirk and tic mark on her cheek. Hartmann scared to look at Minna, while Yoshika pick up Perrine's glasses and listen to her with Jeku and Ethan.
"I had a terrible dream that the major was killed in action!" Perrine yelped, crying.
"So, then you saw what happened?" Yoshika asked.
"I understand what's going on, leave it to me!" Perrine assured, looking confident. "Perrine will make it right!"
"Oh, good, I'm so glad to hear it!" Commander Minna sighed of relief with smile.
However things didn't go the way they thought...
"No! I messed up! One millimeter too short!" Perrine cried, baffled.
"You got to be kidding me right now!?" Jeku and Ethan yelled and exclaimed in unison.
"Miyafuji!" Minna called out. "Recovery magic!"
Yoshika stare at them with cover by eye shadow with sweaty on her both cheeks.
"Ah! I cut this part a little too short, help!" Perrine shouted, crying.
"Miyufuji!" Commander Minna called, shouted.
"And this part! And here, too!" Perrine whined, crying.
"Miyufuji, hurry! Please It's an emergency!" Commander Minna add, worried.
Yoshika grab a pair of scissor, then walk over to behind Mio and cut Mio's hairbang off.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!" Minna and Perrine screamed.
Jeku and Ethan stare at Yoshika in shocked.
"Well this most unexpected..." Ethan mummered in shock.
"Yeah..." Jeku mummered. "Well... I'm out, i don't want my hair get cut from that happened." He added.
"We'll just go to a baber shop with a professinal hair cutter to get the job done right." Ethan mentioned.
"Good idea. Let's go there now." Jeku agreed. As before they're leaving the room, Minna grab Jeku's shoulder with her smile and eyes closed.
"And just where do you think you're going Jeku Kusanagi?"
Jeku scared her voice tone, he gulped and shaking his body.
"I- I was going to barber shop with my best friend to get c-cu-cutter. Is that something wrong, Minna?" Jeku stuttered, baffled.
"Oh there's a problem, you gonna stay here and I'll do hair cutter for you." Minna assured.
"Tidwell, you can go barber shop, but Jeku will stay here with me for cutting his hair, understand?" She asked with horrible smile and baffled.
Ethan gulped nervously. As strong that he and Jeku are against their enemies, but women on the other hand will always be a different matter. "O-o-o-okay then, please do take care of him as a kind request."
"Your request has approved." Commander Minna responded.
Ethan ran fast out of there, Minna grab Jeku to make him face her.
"Now then Jeku, have a another chair and don't run away from me. I always want to your hair Jeku." She smiled.

They look at the back, see lot of stuff, which everyone decides not to use that.

Needless to say that left Shirley and Hartmann not so pleased as they have eyes shadowed and tick mark on their cheek.
'She knew this would happen, so she requested night patrol! And he want come along!' Shirley thought.

"This is booze?" Major Sakamoto question with grunted.
"She got drunk and passed out?" Yoshika asked, confused.
"Is this why Takei told us not to give you alcohol?" Barkhorn questions.
Jeku look at his liquor glass and smell it, then he realizes what that smell is. As Major's blood comes out of her mouth on the table.
"Wait, alcohol? Like disinfectant alcohol?" He thought.
Commander Minna show the bottle of "Disinfectant Ethanol" in her hand, Jeku and others shivered at that, but it won't infect Jeku and Ethan.
"If you can't handle it, let me know next time. I'll water it down." She assured.
"Miyafujui, save yourself!" Barkhorn urged.
"That's a strange name when they name after my best friend!" Jeku shouted.

"Let's just go before she force us to drink and get Major to the medic!" Ryūko shivered.

The next beautiful day, everyone doing their activities, while Yoshika and Jeku doing kitchen duty to fix lunch for their teammates. Commander Minna arrive in the kitchen and holding two package of money.
"It's finally pay day!" Yoshika excited.
"Well, Miyafujii, Kusanagi, you've done a fantastic job this month!" Minna congratulated.
"Thanks, that's nice of you to say!" Yoshika remarked.
"Is this right?" Jeku asked as he look at his payday bag. "It feels like way too much." He added.
"Oh don't worry about it. There's a little bonus in there 'cause you both stopped that Neuroi advanced." Commander Minna smiled at Jeku.
Yoshika sweatdropped. 'Wait, the Neuroi haven't tried to advance once in the last month.' She thought to herself.
While Minna away, Barkhorn appears and hears everything from them.
"Just take it and be proud! It's a reward for all your hard work." Barkhorn said.
"But, We haven't done much, besides help out with the chores." Jeku said with nervously smile.
"Keeping this place in good shape is an important part of the job." Barkhorn pointed out. "Everyone here appreciates you."
"Wow, thank you for saying that." Yoshika said.
Barkhorn, Jeku and Yoshika look at Shirley, Hartmann and Luuchini who sleeps on Shirley's shoulder. While Barkhorn narrowed at them with angry vein on her cheek.
"I mean it. There are people here who never do a darn thing to help out." Barkhorn glared.
"Man work's hard. I need a vacation." Hartmann fake exhausted.
"I just about died from overwork." Shirley fake tired.
Jeku stared at them with deadpan look. 'Lazies.' He thought in his mind.
Barkhorn then brings out a paper. "In any case, it's shopping day. Come into town with us if you need something."
Yoshika takes the paper. "Let me see." She looks at the list in the paper with Jeku looking at over her shoulder. "I have been needing some stuff for the kitchen, like utensils and ingredients." But she had an uneasy look on her face. "But nothing I could ever need would be worth the terror of being trapped in a car with Shirley driving like a maniac."
"I understand, but you'd both might not have a choice." Barkhorn said.
They look at Hartmann, Perrine, Lynne, Eila, Chris, Jason And Shirley who got her glove on and wick smile while Lynne eye-shadowed scared and Eila cover her both ears so she won't listen.
"No one wants to ride with her. They're all fighting about it." Barkhorn sweatdroped.
"Why not having Ethan or you Jeku, with your strength and ability to fly it should reassure everyone. That way if something goes wrong then any of you can prevent it." Yoshika suggested.
"Yes, it would but..." Jeku paused.
"But?" Yoshika wondered, having a bad feeling what the response would be.
"Shirley had decline that idea, as it would ruin the thrill of it." Barkhorn finished it for Jeku with the dread expression.
'Seriously?! That's so wrong.' Yoshika exclaimed in her mind.
Brought them attention to Hartmann who grin look and eye-shadowed.
"Time for the "Ride with Shirley" rock-paper-scissor game!" She excited.
Hartmann, Eila, Chris and Jason will stay here, while Jeku, Yoshika and Barkhorn lost and ride with Shirley. Yoshika look at her hand with tears Jeku patting her back and tried make her feel better.
Shirley looked at the unforunate ones. "Miyafuji, Kusanagi, Barkhorn, you're coming with me, right?" she questioned.
"Yeah, but only if you promise not to kill us, except Jeku." Barkhorn hissed.
"Just tried not to scare them, ok, Shirley?" Jeku reminded.
"Mind if I come with you guys, too?" Lynne asked.
This made Eila, Hartmann, Jason and Chris looked shocked.
"Aw, thanks, Lynne! If we crash, at least we'll be together!" Yoshika happy with tears.

Now they enter the truck, Jeku and Yoshika are sit in passenger and Shirley driver while others in the back sit.
"Hey, look alive over there!" Shirley excited.

"Right! I'm gonna set a new record today!" Shirley announced.
"A record?" Jeku and Yoshika questioned in unison.
The truck drives off fast as screams can be heard. Commander Minna comes to see the truck leaving while Hartmann sees them off.
"Wow, they're gone already?" Commander Minna asked.
"Yeah, they just pulled away." Hartmann smiled.
"Do you know who all ended up going with them?" Commander Minna asked. She hope that Jeku isn't with them.
"Miyafuji, Lynne, Kusanagi and Trudy, as far as I know." Hartmann replied.
"I see. Well, that's not good." Commander Minna said. Not happy Jeku is with them.
"Forgot to ask them to get something for you?" Eila asked.
"No, I was just hoping there'd be more people to cook for." the commander replied with a smile
Eila, Hartmann, Chris and Jason groan in disgust.
"I'm happy to make us all lunch, since our two chiefs went out." Commander Minna said.
"No, thanks. You don't need to bother yourself with that." Eila, Hartmann, Chris and Jason said in unison.
"Oh, it's no bother--you know how I love to cook!" Commander Minna reminded.
"It's been so long since we had rations for lunch!" Hartmann fake excited
"You're right! Let's do that, it' be just like old times!" Eila smiled.
Eila, Hartmann, Chris and Jason had horror look on their face. 'Come back, Miyufuji! Jeku! They cried in their minds.
"Did you guys sustain any injuries?" Barkhorn asked.
Yoshika, Barkhorn and Lynne except Shirley and Jeku who don't feel nothing but he'd feel sorry for them and sweatdrop.
"No, but I regret every choice I've made that led me to this point." Yoshika groaned.
"What a sorry bunch of wimps, except you Jeku. I shaved thirty minutes of the trip so you'd have more time to shop!" Shirley winked.
"Yeah, and your cliff jumps and river folding shaved a few years off their lives." Yoshika scared.
"And didn't I told you to not scare what you just did, Shirley?" Jeku asked with deadpan.
Later on the clock tower chimes.
"Lunchtime already?" Barkhorn wondered as she hands the box to Shirley who is inside the truck's trunk.
"I heard a really nice cafe just opened up near here." Lynne brought up the subject as she and Yoshika bring in the things they got. "Maybe we should try their lunch menu."
"Wow, you're a regular local guide!" Yoshika impressed.
Jeku standing there look at the sky, Barkhorn walk over to him with her smile and also look at the sky.
"So peaceful." Jeku said.
"What do you think the others back at the base are up to right now?" Barkhorn wondered.
Eila, Hartmann, Chris and Jason eating for lunch with their eye-shadowed.
"Probably goofing off and having fun, as usual." Jeku said in off-screen.
They look each other and tried to figure it out something. "We got through lunch, but I don't see any way of surviving dinner." Eila said.
"We have to do something, fast." Jason replied.
"Problem is that there's no one around here who knows how to cook." Chris groaned.
"What can we do with these cards we've been dealt?" Hartmann asked.
"Any ideas?" Chris asked.
Eila standing up and rolling her arm and hear pop bone. "Only one choice. I'm just have to gaze into the future and figure out some way to get through this!" She said seriously.

"It must be hard to do all the cooking yourself, but I can help!" Eila smiled.
"I know exactly what you're thinking." Minna said as small tear formed on her left eye. "You're concerned because my flavor palate is a little more sophisticated than yours."

Minna winked at them with her grin. "Rest assured, Miyufuji and Kusanagi's Fuso-style cuisine has broadened my culinary horizons!"

"You see, from the smelly, cheese and fermented bean soup, to the putrid fish Miyufuji and Kusanagi introduced us to, one thing certainly is true. For us, "the stinkier the better.""That might even be our cardinal rule of cooking!" Eila finished explain.
"I like what I'm hearing!" Minna smiled.
Hartmann, Chris and Jason horror face look and they can't stop them. They yelled in the hallway for come to save them.

She pull up a can says, "Surströmming" "I know exactly how to satisfy our cravings! Canned Baltic herring is the stinkiest of all foods!" Eila excited.
"Good god." Jason gasped.
"Imagine hot, rotting garbage in the middle of a feral cat colony." Eila said.
They shouted at the hallaway again for help.
"But canned herring isn't all that different from our rations, is it? I've got just the thing to spice it up a little more." Commander Minna said.
She got in her hand is a bottle says, "Amnonia" "~Ammonia!~
"Neuroi! Take me now!" Hartmann yelled.
"When you open the can, the liquid tends squirt out, and it's caustic, so be careful." Eila explained.
"You didn't even consider opening it outside?" Jason asked and scare.
Eila starts trying to open her can with the can opener, but it isn't working. "Uh-oh. The can is so swollen I can't get the can opener to work."
"That's a sign you should stop!" Chris pleaded.
Even Minna was having the same problem with the bottle. "Oh, no! The cap on this bottle won't budge, either."
"We're telling you, it's a sign from the heavens to give it up!" Hartmann pleaded.
Eila then gets an idea. "I know! Let's get Major Sakamoto to slice through these stubborn containers."
"Good idea!" Minna smiled at that. "She can open both of them in one fell swoop!"
"Can you guys hear me?" Hartmann cried.
Major Sakamoto arrive in the kitchen, Hartmann, Chris and Jason were happy to see her, so they're tell her everything Minna and Eila going open disgust food in the kitchen.
"Were they seriously considering opening that stuff indoors?" Sakamoto asked.
Hartmann hug Major tightly and crying. "We begged them to at least open outside!"
"Calm down now." Major sweatdrop. "I'll talk some sense into them. So..."
Minna expression cheerful and Eila also smile. "You're gonna absolutely love it, Mio!" Minna excited.
"Everybody from Fuso goes on and on about this stuff, so I'm really eager to give it a try!" Eila smiled.
Mio gave in. "Uh. Okay. I'll open it, if I must."
Hartmann, Chris and Jason shocked at that Mio will do it. "Tell them no!" They whispered.

They're outside, Commander Minna and Eila standing there waiting Major Sakamoto to open both two things.
"Right, Mio, now go for it!" Minna excited.

"It's called, "Decoy Fishing," and it's nothing but a trap!" Chris warned.
